This is the bet: 

Starting May 1st, if Marshall "stacks" Reid does not shave his currently hairless head for six months he will receive 1,000 dollars.

The Marshall Reid Hair Restoration Project is an experiment in humanity; an exploration into the lengths humans are willing to go for money.  But most importantly, and less pretensiously,  it’s a great way to make Marshall "stacks" Reid look like a complete creep for six months.
